Each of the 12 Disney parks has themed areas, rides, shows, dining experiences, and more. Walt Disney World Resort in Florida also has two water parks: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach.

While planning your visit, you must consider ticket options and reservation requirements. Standard date-based theme park tickets require a start date at purchase. You can get a Park Hopper ticket to visit multiple parks at resorts like Walt Disney World. Note that until January 8, 2024, you’ll need to reserve date-based tickets.

If you love to enjoy your Disney vacation with a small crowd, the best time to visit is January to March and September to November. These months are quieter than holiday months, like December, spring break, and summer.

You’ll need a reservation to dine at an in-park, table-service restaurant at any Disney theme park. These restaurants are not always available, so you must check availability first to ensure it matches your ticket reservation day.
